Dear Families
This letter is to provide an update to Lincoln Community Preschool families regarding the current COVID-19 mitigation protocols and their impact on Lincoln Community Preschool.
The letter to families dated April 10, stated “Lincoln Community Preschool plans to open immediately to provide full time childcare to families of essential workers, and for children with IEP/IFSPs, once families receive approval through the Emergency Child Care AP program.” The current Emergency Child Care program is scheduled to end on June 30, 2020, although it can be extended or rescinded by the state at any time.
It is our goal to return to our regular preschool program. This week the Governor announced that California is now in Stage Two of the Stay at Home Order. This includes opening childcare to all families.
Lincoln Community Preschool will be open for part-time (Monday-Thursday) preschool beginning June 1, 2020 exclusively for children who were enrolled in March 2020. Please contact us by June 1, 2020 with your intent to continue enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year. New families may attend beginning July 2020.
Additionally, the Lincoln Community Preschool Toddler Program will open July 2020. This two-day per week program will operate Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday from 9:30-11:30am for children ages 18-30 months. Contact us for more information.
Please see the attached updated program year calendar and rate sheet. All parent participation requirements and fees are being waived.
Lincoln Community Preschool continues to daily monitor the COVID-19 situation at the federal, state and local levels and will respond to the COVID-19 situation as appropriate.
The staff have continued to remain healthy and there have been no known cases or exposures of COVID- 19 at Lincoln Community Preschool.
