March 27, 2020
Dear Families
This letter is to provide an update to Lincoln Community Preschool families regarding the current COVID-19 mitigation protocols and their impact on Lincoln Community Preschool.
The letter to families dated March 17, 2020 stated “In the interest of public health, Lincoln Community Preschool is adjusting the 2019-2020 school year calendar. The planned closure dates for June and July are being moved to March and April. The original closure week for Spring Break, April 6-9, will remain.”
On March 19, 2020 the Placer County Health Officer issued a directive that “all individuals…shelter at their place of residence. All businesses with a facility in the county…are required to cease activities.”
On March 26, 2020 “the Placer County Superintendent of Schools decided, in concurrence with Placer County Public Health, to extend closures of all schools through May 1, 2020 in order to slow the spread of COVID-19 to the maximum extent possible.”
Lincoln Community Preschool will “pause” its preschool program for the month of April 2020; preschool classes and tuition are being placed on hold until such time that regular classes may resume. All tuition payments are waived for the month of April 2020.
Lincoln Community Preschool will continue to monitor and respond to the current situation as appropriate.
A thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the school will be done prior to reopening.
Lincoln Community Preschool values our relationship with families and appreciates your flexibility during this time.
As always, please reach out if there are any questions or concerns.
Kindly,
Teacher Debbie (916) 712-0684
