Dear Families
This letter is to provide an update to Lincoln Community Preschool families regarding the current COVID-19 mitigation protocols and their impact on Lincoln Community Preschool.
The letter to families dated March 13, 2020 stated, “if Lincoln Community Preschool is required to close, the school calendar will be adjusted to continue to offer 180 days of preschool during the calendar year.”
In the interest of public health, Lincoln Community Preschool is adjusting the 2019-2020 school year calendar. The planned closure dates for June and July are being moved to March and April.
June 22-25 closure is moved to March 23-26
June 29-July 1 closure moved to March 30-April 2
The original closure week for Spring Break, April 6-9, will remain.
This calendar adjustment allows Lincoln Community Preschool to be closed when it will have the greatest impact on public health. The total number of school days offered March through July is not being changed. Please see the attached updated school calendar.
A thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the school will be done prior to reopening on April 13, 2020.
Previously scheduled events, parent workshops and the zoo field trip will be rescheduled.
